Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a Google Sheets document
2. Size window so there is a horizontal scroll bar
3. Use shift key + mousewheel to scroll

What is the expected behavior?
In stable chrome (54.0.2840.71), the view scrolls horizontally.

What went wrong?
In beta and unstable chrome (56.0.2906.0), the view scrolls vertically.

Inspecting the events, it looks like this is happening because older versions of chrome automatically swapped the delta X and delta Y components on the mouse wheel events when the shift key was pressed. New versions are no longer doing this.
