||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionOS: Android What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Go to any site with an html select element (such as about://flags) (2) Enter VR shell mode (with separate view for each eye) (3) Click on a select element What is the expected output? Select should drown selection in each eye view. What do you see instead? A pop up layed out on top of the whole device (partially covering each eye view) This happens for other input elements as well (verified with date picker and color chooser). Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

On Android and OSX, Chrome uses native controls for the popup UI. On Windows/Linux (Aura), Chrome uses popups with hosted html content. I believe the right approach here is to use popups with the existing desktop hosted html controls so we don't have to re-implement VR-specific UI controls. We'd have to make ViewAndroid understand popups.
