chromium starting but I don't want it to

  Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari:
    Firefox:
         IE:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)starting my computer
(2)
(3)

What is the expected result?
chromium not starting, weird considering I searched in settings to search for not starting this program (couldn't find this setting), uninstalled it and it doesn't appear in my list of programs/software anymore

What happens instead?
chromium starting...

@joyceweijman-- Could you please provide us the clear detail steps of the issue including chrome build details and OS platforms where currently you are facing this issue .

If possible provide us a sample screen-cast for better understanding.

I am no tech person, sorry, I don't know what chrome build details and OS
platforms means...
I just know that I've got software on my computer that automatically starts
while I didn't ask for it, can find no setting to stop this, and it does so
even after uninstalling Chrome. And I could still find the Chromium app
after uninstalling Chrome, and Chromium itself was nowhere in my list of
programs. I know have deleted it manualy, and the first reboot Chormium
didn't start, so I hope I'm rid of it know.
