Chrome does not scroll down while dragging to select text if bottom of window is at bottom of screen |

Issue description<b>Version: <Kenneth, what is the frequency?></b> OS: OSX, Linux, ... What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) go to any webpage with enough content to scroll (I used http://greggman.github.io/doodles) (2) Click and drag down to the bottom of the screen to select tet What is the expected output? The page scrolls to allow you to select more text What do you see instead? The page does not scroll Works in Firefox and Safari. Broken in Linux (I didn't test windows) See attached gif

The way we do this is by looking for coordinates outside the content area, perhaps we need to trigger if it is at the very edge as well.

I'm guessing the bug report is for stable? sunyunjia@ recently fixed this in issue 645108 so it should be fixed in an upcoming release (currently in Canary/Dev chennels). |
