Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Using Acer Chromebook 14, typing text
2. Screen blanks out for no reason at random
3. Sliding over the trackpad or closing / opening the lid fixes it

What is the expected behavior?
Screen should not blank out during typing

What went wrong?
Screen blanks out unexpectedly. In the background audio/video continue to play normally, and keyboard entry is also captured, but does not turn on the screen. 

Did this work before? Yes Previous Chrome OS release

Chrome version: 54.0.2840.79  Channel: stable
OS Version: 8743.76.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

I think this problem started occuring with the latest Chrome OS update.
