Unable to reproduce on windows 10 using latest chrome stable M54 #54.0.2840.87 .

We are able to hear the sound in google translate when text is entered.

@alim -- Could you please recheck in latest stable as new stable is available and if you still face the issue please write us with your observations.

Thanks !
Dear Hdodda,

My current google chrome version is 54.0.2840.87 m

Please check the windows update version because 1607 build doesn’t update
when we click check for updates.

It takes time to update. So please make sure that it is your windows 10 is
at 1607 build.

I still cannot hear the audio in chrome.

I don't think this is a media bug. It seems a general chrome audio issue. Dale, do you know which team would own it?
Seems like a bug that should be reported to Microsoft? Does this site work in Firefox or Edge on that build of WindowS?
It worked with Firefox. I had tested this.

Unable to reproduce the issue on windows-10 using chrome stable version 55.0.2883.87 and latest canary 57.0.2963.0 with the steps mentioned in comment#0

reporter@ could you please upgrade the Chrome to latest version and let us know your observations if the issue still persists.

Thanks..
Dear Support,

Thank you for your email. However, it is a common bug in Windows 10 Update
1607. If you are only using the update you may not get the 1607 update
right away. So please verify this on Windows 10 Update 1607. Which is
already verified by the team previously.

Hope it clears the confusion.
