What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open up the Chrome browser on ChromeOS.
2. Open up multiple tabs.
3. Press Ctrl + Alt + Left arrow, or Ctrl + Alt + Right arrow.
What is the expected result?
This should let you cycle through previous/next tabs in the Chrome browser.
What happens instead of that?
Nothing.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
On OSX, the shortcut Command + Option + Left/Right arrow will let you cycle through tabs in Chrome.
Moving over to ChromeOS, the equavilent shortcut is Ctrl + Tab or Ctrl + Shift + Tab (which is I assume to mimic Windows behaviour).
It would be fantastic if Ctrl + Alt + Left/Right arrow also performed the same functionality - this would minimise the mental overhead in switching between OSX and ChromeOS platforms, if the shortcuts were at least vaguely similar.

You can do that today with Ctrl+Tab (or Ctrl+Shift+Tab for back)

Yes, I know that - however, this was simply to have parity with Chrome on OSX, and ease the transition. Ctrl + Alt + Left/Right arrow isn't currently used for anything in Chrome - so it would be great if this was either simply the default, or available as an option. |
