shift-delete to remove omnibox suggestion doesn't work on Linux

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.71 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. type a string in the omnibox
2. arrow down to a  suggestion from your history
3. press shift-delete

What is the expected behavior?
Item is removed from list.

What went wrong?
Shift-delete has no effect.

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 54.0.2840.71  Channel: stable
OS Version: 
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Still works on Windows.

I tried Shift-Delete on Linux on ToT (56.0.2908.0) and it worked. Could you check if you experience the bug on Beta (55) or Canary (56)?
