I'm 99% sure this is working-as-intended, but the NewTabPage team should triage.

From a privacy point-of-view, the right way to share Chrome with a trusted friend is to create a new Profile and have them use that instead of sharing your profile. See https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2364824?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform=Desktop

For security when sharing Chrome with untrusted parties, you must have them use a different Operating System login account.

I am 100% sure this is not working as intended because if it is working as intended then what is the use of enable and disable feature of bookmark bar.also book mark is shown when you first open chrome browser not only in new Tab.


Also if i am sharing chrome with my friend them i am always clear all my history and hide my book mark bar in other browser also and my friend use the chrome without knowing what site i have visited and my bookmark item but in chrome i am unable to do this.

Thanks for the report. But this is working as intended. On the NewTabPage the bookmarks bar is always visible.
The setting "Show bookmarks bar" is only effective when you are not on the NewTabPage.

When You First Open the Chrome Web Browser Then your All Bookmark shown Item it's not just for New Tab.

 Let me know when this functionality will be work and WHEN USER IS NOT ON NEW TAB because i did not found this functionality is working in any case.

If it's working as intended then it must be a design flaw.
and this is not acceptable as this product is belong to google.

This is the New Tab page - it's shown by default when you open Chrome.

Please see Comment 1 above for what to do if you want to share your computer, but not your bookmarks.

What functionality? Everything here is working as intended.
