Issue descriptionThis was done as a quick and dirty solution to fix a crash a while ago because the media player would keep using a deleted frame. Removing the fix doesn't trigger the same crash but I was able to trigger another crash by loading an HTTP url. The fix might be a bit risky and could require some refactoring so it will not be done as part of bug 657453.
