Issue descriptionApplication Version (from "Chrome Settings > About Chrome"): 55.0.2883.29 Android Build Number (from "Android Settings > About Phone/Tablet"): LXB22 Device: Moto G (XT1033) Pre-Conditions: Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Chrome and enable spell checking from about://flags 2. Visit 'textarea.org' 3. Change system setting, language and input to 'Arabic' RTL 4. Type some bogus text in the text area. Observed behavior: No squiggle displayed for misspelled words in RTL Expected behavior: Red squiggle to be shown for misspelled words Frequency: 100% Additional comments:

Throwing to Tim for Android spellcheck General request: If you file a chromium bug, please attach files on the bug tracker instead of some internal directory. (It makes it harder to track things down. R-V-G bugs are only available to @chromium.org accounts marked as google, internal resources are only available to @google.com accounts. :) Also, ideally please file without R-V-G. Can we remove that flag here, or does the original report contain sensitive data?

In general we file bugs with RVG label. no sensitive information, so removing RVG label.
