[drm:intel_pipe_update_end] *ERROR* Atomic update failure on pipe A (start=79152 end=79153)

Reported by pepe.sch...@gmail.com, Oct 27 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0
Platform: 8861.0.0 (Official Build) dev-channel

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. It's random
2. Happens every day
3. It's anoying.

What is the expected behavior?
It shouldnt go to black screen, because I didn't suspend it.

What went wrong?
Hello,
While I'm doing something on my Lenovo N22 I will receive black screen (because system is suspended to RAM w/o doing anything [just reading])
Only what you can do is put screen down and up (and maybe press power button)

Did this work before? Yes

Chrome version: <Copy from: 'about:version'> Channel: dev
OS Version: 55.0.2878.0 dev (64-bit) Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: ppapi-flash-version=23.0.0.185-r1

I provided all necessary information here:
https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!msg/chromebook-central/mGU9gy9WEU8/uWqqzZW4AwAJ

Don't know if it is HW broken, but it was working, when I receive it.
I tried also stable channel and it was same.

We tried Powerwash many times and even tried reinstall ChromeOS by USB, but it doesn't help. We still suffer from this problem.

// This is my first bug issue here.
And I should mention that notebook was gift for my sister and I don't expect that it have this annoying bug.

This might be the same as issue 652110 .
Status: Fixed (was: Unconfirmed)
This should be fixed by the reverts I landed last week in the kernel and in 55/54

Thanks. I assume that it's some combination of the ones between Nov 1 and Nov 3 at https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/q/owner:marcheu. :-)
