I downloaded ADP app to keep up with my pay. The app said to update android web view, so I did. The update was done, ADP still asking for web view update. I have rebooted my tablet, app still asks for web view update

charlestennyson17@, what is your webview version? I'm unable to reproduce the issue here.

It's possible the manufacturer of your device has configured the ROM incorrectly such that it doesn't actually use the Google-updatable WebView.

If you can capture the logs from your device with "adb logcat" when starting this application, or capture an Android bugreport and attach it, we can probably figure out if that's the case or not.
Labels: Needs-Feedback
We have observed crashes from version 49+ on RCA devices, which likely rules out a misconfigured ROM.
The app matches the webview useragent to /Chrome\/([\d]+)\./ and then checks to see if the matched int is >= 40. It does log all the information that it collects during this process, so getting logs would be useful.
