Chrome frozen on the tab switcher

Yesterday while browsing reddit, I clicked on the tab switcher button at the time a video started playing fullscreen. After I closed the video, the browser was displaying the tab switcher but not responding to any touch input. Backgrounding the app did not resolve the issue. Switching to another app and then kill Chrome and restarting it fixed the problem.

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.20 beta (I'm on TestFlight).
Device: iPhone 7 plus running iOS 10.0.3

Not sure if I could reproduce this.

Reproduced consistently on iOS10 devices.
Working fine on iOS9

Tested on Version: M54.0.2840.66 stable, iPhone7, iOS 10.1
