I can reproduce this bug on MacBook Pro with Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200 running Mac OSX 10.11. After reverting https://codereview.chromium.org/2356213004, the bug disappears. Assign chrishtr to take a look.

I can't reproduce this on a MacBook Pro / Retina / 10.12.1 / Intel Iris.

Where is the unwanted white line? Could you please upload a screenshot or
video?

Also due to Thanksgiving holidays in US, please make sure all fixes are ready and merged to M55 latest by 5:00 PM PT Friday, 11/18/16.
This bug only can be reproduced on Mac OSX 10.11. 10.12 doesn't have this regression. Attached video to show the bug.

This is a bug in macOS 10.11. The issue is that CALayers sometimes get "cracks" between them. I've seen it in other applications than just Chrome.

The video above shows a "crack" appearing between two CALayers (corresponding to cc tiles).

This is a MacOS issue so marking ExternalDependency. It may be that this was fixed in 10.12 -- I only upgraded to 10.12 a few days ago, so I don't know its status.
ccameron@ - I guess this is from scaling web content?
I'm not sure about the exact cause -- it very well may be because of scaled web contents.

Dropping to P3.

I haven't seen this in a while, so I suspect the macOS bug may have been fixed.
