Issue descriptionChrome Version:56.0.2902.0 (Official Build) 22203b32bdae9236d23cc89e70772721315f2d1f-refs/heads/master@{#427892} OS: Windows (7,8,10) Pre-condition:Enable Print Scaling flag from chrome://flags What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome and navigate to http://www.cbu.edu.zm/downloads/pdf-sample.pdf 2. Press 'Ctrl+P' and then click on Scaling input field, change the scaling value to 10. 3. Again change the scaling value to 100 and observe. Actual:Weird flickering is observed on Print Preview while changing the Scaling range from 100 to 10 or vice-versa Expected: Flickering should not be seen. This is non-regression issue,this is new feature introduce in 'M 56'(56.0.2902.0) Note: Will soon update Mac and Linux OS info. @rbpotter-Please take a look.

Tried to reproduce this on Linux. I can't see any difference in the animation/flickering that occurs when I change scale vs the animation/flickering that occurs when I change fit to page or paper size. Can you be more specific about what flickering you see with changing scale that is different from what occurs with other settings (fit to page or paper size)?

Probably the same thing as http://crbug.com/383817 . Also happens with changing page size.

Merging this as appears to be the same print preview animation issue - page flickering when settings are changed/preview regenerated. |
