trace_test should upload test results to the test-results server

Project Member Reported by foolip@chromium.org, Oct 26 2016

Issue description

See issue 659081 . Here trace_test have been failing, but not the same tests. The cause might be the same, or not, it's not clear. It would be very helpful if these were tracked individually.

Possibly related, http://test-results.appspot.com/dashboards/flakiness_dashboard.html#testType=trace_test says "Data is missing for builders", some of which are the flaky bots.

sergiyb@ suggested a fix that's probably similar in https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=659356#c1

Hmm, "No builders found for the given test type. Please select another." This probably means that no bots are uploading results?
Note that we expect test launcher owners to do this work as we don't know the specifics of each individual test launcher.
Re #2, where do you see this error?
Looks like this is a GPU test, adding kbr@.

Is the test launcher something in the Chromium repo? content/test/gpu/gpu_tests/trace_test.py?
Summary: trace_test should upload test results to the test-results server (was: trace_test failures are all grouped together in automatic try flakes issues)
Re #5: Yes, I think it means it's not uploading results. Another way to see this is to run this query: https://plx.corp.google.com/script/#a=qo%7Ci=google%253A%253Ascript_3b._008d57_0666_4a19_9cf6_69ddda7b7a1c. I just ran it and it reports 0% for trace_test, which means that it's not uploading any test results to test-server at all.
Re #8: I'm not sure, kbr@ should know more about it.

It's a Telemetry based harness and work is underway to get flakiness dashboard results working for these.

Is there a tracking bug for that work? Perhaps this one can be a dupe of such bug.
