Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8530.96.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.154 Safari/537.36 Platform: 8530.96.0 (Official Build) stable-channel auron_yuna Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Close a tab What is the expected behavior? Using the last opened tab instead of the closest one What went wrong? The next tab will be chosen instead of the last used Did this work before? No Chrome version: 53.0.2785.154 Channel: stable OS Version: 8530.96.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 This might be better for people who have alot of tabs open and don't want to click much. Maybe there should be an option to turn off this feature.

Duping to a similar but not identical request for changes in which tab we show when closing a tab. See comment 4 on that bug. Basically, sometimes we do use the last opened tab, the heuristics are complicated, and to make changes we need descriptions of specific use cases where a precise sequence of actions should result in one particular behavior but results in a different one instead. |
