Issue descriptionChrome Version : Version 53.0.2785.143 m URLs (if applicable) : https://www.google.com/#q=%5E%20meaning Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari: Firefox: IE: Internet Explorer version 10 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Open a Google search. (2) Type "^Meaning" or "&Meaning" (3) Click on Google search What is the expected result? Expected Result is, it should display the meaning of the Special Characters ^ &. What happens instead? Instead of the expected result, it displays the meaning of the word "Meaning". Search Engine is ignoring the special characters like ^ & * ( ) etc. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. I have attached the screenshot for your reference. Either in general or Technically, each & every 'special characters' are having a Meaning individually. When a user doesn't know the meaning of these special characters, they would generally search the Google Engine search. ================================================================================BRIEF NOTE ABOUT ME: ================================================================================ Hi, I am a Passionate Testing professional with 10+ years of rich experience in Testing area. Happens in Firefox as well. You need to log a ticket against search via https://support.google.com/ This bug reporting tool is only for Chrome and Chromium and since the issue happens in Firefox as well it would be a website issue.
