Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open multiple tabs on a tablet 2. Try to select a tab that is not currently in view 3. Accidentally hit the tab close button 4. Go into settings to change the on-screen keyboard to one that can do the ctrl-shift-t combination and re-open the tab. 5. Return to step 2. 6. Get frustrated and switch to a different browser. What is the expected behavior? Selecting a tab and hitting a close button should be hard to mix up What went wrong? Tabs get closed all the time for users who are the least able to re-open tabs. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 54.0.2840.71 (Official Build) m (64-bit) Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 This is NOT a duplicate of https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=50913 That thread is asking for a customizeable feature. I am identifying a BUG. These are different. The bug is that Chrome is completely useless to tablet users. One potential fix is to remove the tab close button from every tab that is not currently being viewed. This does not require any sort of user option to toggle them on and off. The inconvenience to desktop users who want them should be far less than the benefit of allowing tablet users to use Chrome at all.
