+rolfe, emilyschechter to confirm I had heard about us wanting to remove these settings before, so I think you're good to move forward.

emilyschechter would be able to state specifics, but yeah I understood they would be deprecated. Just not sure of the timeline. Would be good to update the related Android fullscreen bug when we know more: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=652554

+Matt, Ben -- could you confirm these are being removed, and we should remove them from settings?

Yes, these have already been removed from the settings UI on all platforms in the past few days (r428964 and r429474), so they should also be removed from the material design UI. It looks like it's already been removed though: chrome://md-settings/siteSettings just redirects to md-settings, but chrome://md-settings/content (is that the URL you meant?) contains all the other content settings. No fullscreen or mouse lock. #3 also updated (closed) that bug. PS. You could've CC'd me directly (the author of the CL linked in the bug report) to ask that :)

#6 > It looks like it's already been removed... That looks true. The main purpose of this bug was to confirm this is what we want. Closing this bug. |
