Reported by andrey.v...@gmail.com, Oct 21 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.143 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Please do exactly as follows:
1. Open page https://support.google.com/?hl=en
2. Press Ctrl+F to open Find in page bar
3. Type word
removals
and press Enter key. Found zero results as it should be
4. click colored G link "Search" on above page to open page https://support.google.com/websearch/?hl=en#topic=3378866
5. Press Ctrl+F then press Enter to find word "removals" (already typed on first page)

What is the expected behavior?
find in page should find word
removals
at the middle of page https://support.google.com/websearch/?hl=en#topic=3378866

What went wrong?
find in page did not found word
removals
at the middle of page https://support.google.com/websearch/?hl=en#topic=3378866

Did this work before? Yes I don't remember, but several moths ago it did worked.

Chrome version: 53.0.2785.143 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.3

Able to reproduce the issue on win10 chrome version 55.0.2883.87 but the issue seems to be fixed on latest canary 58.0.2990.0

Could you please recheck the same on latest canary and let us know the observation.
