Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open up chrome in first workspace, 
2. Switch to second workspace and open up google calendar with a calendar entry approaching
3. switch to first workspace and wait for calendar notification.

What is the expected behavior?
calendar notification appears in second workspace but does not affect first workspace browser

What went wrong?
first workspace browser becomes unresponsive until after notification is closed in the second workspace
