Uninstall your canary and reinstall. It should fix your problem.

Crashes when you are signed in to Chrome. When you are signed out it doesn't crash.

New update to Canary works with Google Business account (@domainname.com) subscriptions but will crash similarly when I try to link it to my personal Google (@gmail)

Comment 4 by bob.mo...@gmail.com, Oct 21 2016

Reinstall didn't work for me, I had to delete my "User Data"
%APPDATA%\Local\Google\Chrome SxS\User Data

Comment 5 by bob.mo...@gmail.com, Oct 21 2016

After I deleted my "User Data" and I login with my @gmail account and choose Sync data, it keeps closing chrome again
Today I started to get the same issues :o

Google Chrome Canary launches & then closes in a few seconds.
I can delay the closure if I launch an Incognito session but that will also close.

Version 56.0.2896.0 canary (64bit)

I am writing this post in regular Chrome (Version 53.0.2785.143 m (64-bit)
There is a Chrome update waiting to start with a relaunch!
Will my next updates be via Edge :o :)
I finally saw "Comment 2" & now I've logged out of the Canary browser and Canary stay open!

If I try logging into Gmail I fail at the second step with an error like "we don't know what happened".
!! Doh!! To get the error message correct I just tried to login again - & I'm in
:?
Things are getting better as I type :)
Same here. And I've tried to uninstall and delete all the User Data.
When logged out of the Sync Data system it doesn't crash at all.

New update (56.0.2896.3) seems to have fixed the issue.

I had this issue too and these particular lines kept showing into the debug log file:

I reinstalled directly from the download website (without uninstalling) and it went well, Canary does not crash anymore.
Please fix thank you

I have updated Chrome canary to version "6.0.2898.0 canary (64-bit)" and syncing with my google account works again.
