Issue description
Chrome Version : 54.0.2840.71 (64-bit)

Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
Safari:
Firefox:
IE:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) open a webpage
(2) run the inspector
(3) select a double class name and copy it (like: ".video .tile"
(4) once the selection is pasted, a carriage return is created in the selection.
What is the expected result?
Not include a carriage return in my selection, and keep the selection on the same line.
What happens instead?
a carriage return is created in my selection

Looks like the original selector had a newline character in it which gets copied. That's why selector is wrapped when you start editing in the first place. I think it's possible to select without editing. Andrey?
