Drive (Docs, Sheets) and Groups slow to load/not loading/disconnecting in Chrom 54 corp profile.

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 54.0.2840.59
UserAgentString: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.59 Safari/537.36


Drive (Docs, Sheets) and Groups slow to load/not loading/disconnecting on my desktop computer.

(Since yesterday) I can't seem to consistently load or stay connected to anything from Drive or Groups. 

Behavior seen:
A) Docs will sometimes not load (Chrome loading symbol spin forever)
B) Docs open, but then disconnect from online mode, or become readonly due to lack of connection. 
C) Groups opens, but then search never completes (Chrome spins forever). 

Gmail, plx/, and many other services I've tried continue to work just fine. 

I've tried with BeyondCorp on and off.

I've tried restarting several times. 

Interestingly, using an incognito window seems to solve the problem? So something to do with this version combined with my corp profile perhaps..?

Not working version (linux): Version 54.0.2840.59 (64-bit)
Working fine version (Mac): Version 53.0.2785.143 (64-bit)

Please send help.

I'm not sure if this is interesting at all to Chrome, TechStop suggested I remove the profile completely, restart, and then add it back - which seemed to fix the problem.
