Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.143 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. install the extension - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nimbus-screenshot-and-scr/bpconcjcammlapcogcnnelfmaeghhagj?hl=en 2. Make screenshot "Entire Page" on this page http://www.thealtucherreport.com/income-advantage.html?tid=10221f8264d6eaa867bd71ecb86ba6&affid=1004&utm_source=affiliate&utm_medium=aff1004&utm_term=AR&utm_content=1012&utm_campaign=31 (or any other BIG web page) 3. In the editor, you will not see the captured screenshot What is the expected behavior? The Screenshot has to appear in the editor. If you make a screenshot on small pages it will work. Also on large pages in works on Windows. Problem on Chrome Mac OS What went wrong? Our developers analyzed the problem. When large picture is created on Max OS, requestFileSystem is used but file is not created and no errors in the console. When picture is small, there is no such problem. Works fine on Chrome Windows. Previous versions of Chrome Mac OS worked fine. Did this work before? Yes Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 53.0.2785.143 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.11.6 Flash Version:

I'm getting an infinite spinner on step (3). That being said, that's doesn't help us track down the problem. Please provide more information. (1) A minimized reproduction would be best. e.g. If you can put together a tiny extension that just demos the problem. (2) What is the actual problem? Are you invoking an API and expecting to get a callback, but never receiving one?

Thank you for your time! We checked two other TOP screen capture extensions on Chrome Store and they don't work either. It definitely got broken in Chrome and I just checked Chrome Canary build and it is not fixed. I'm marking this bug WontFix. We do not have a repro case that works locally and it's not likely we will put in the work to diagnose why third-party extensions are not working. |
