Google TTS with CVox announces extra 0 when none is present

Reproduction Steps: 
1. Navigate to any edit box.
2. Type 56.0.2894.0
3. Read the whole number with CTRL+Left/right arrow
Expected: The number would be announced as is, fifty-six dot zero dot two eight nine four dot zero
Actual: The number is announced as fifty-six dot zero dot two eight nine four zero dot zero

Utterance is
"fifty six point zero point two thousand eight hundred ninety four point zero"

Where are you typing this exactly?

It happens when I type 56.0.2894.0 anywhere... I am typing this in Inbox at
the moment in response to the bug report e-mail, and it happens there. It
also happened while editing the bug report yesterday.
