Setting minimum width to elements sidebar pane

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.143 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Extend Devtools with the API chrome.devtools.panels.elements.createSidebarPane()

2. no API to set the minimum width on sidebar pane. 

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
Extension UI does not look good when dragged to minimum size.

Tested on Windows-7, Mac-10.11.4 and Linux ubuntu 14.04 using chrome stable version 54.0.2840.59 and latest canary 56.0.2896.0 with below steps
1.opened chrome
2.Enabled the dev mode
2.Added the extesion 
3.Could not observed the Redder in the backgroung page
