Gmail attached/embedded images can't be seen by sender or receiver post sending email |

Issue descriptionVersion: Latest Linux version for Chrome. OS: What steps will reproduce the problem? Happens in gmail/docs a) Open an image (in docs) b) copy/paste image to gmail c) send the email What is the expected output? Sender sees it when sending the email. Sender and receiver should see the images post send. What do you see instead? Post sending the email neither the sender nor the receiver/s see the attached/embedded images any more. Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

One potential explanation on this might be attachment stripping/obfuscation by groups. I believe in the cases where this was seen, it was generally an announcement mail with an image of a graph to a google group address.

Ketaki, I am unable to reproduce the issue on Linux/Ubuntu 14.04 - 54.0.2840.59 & 54.0.2840.71 Stable builds & 55.0.2883.21 Beta Build. Can you please check again on your Linux machine to see if this still happens ?
