What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Enable #secondary-ui-md. On Mac, also enable #mac-views-webui-dialogs
(2) Change some permissions.
If the display value of the new selection is *longer* than the previous one, than the dropdown grows in width.
If it is *shorter*, then the dropdown stays the same size and displays the new value left-aligned inside the previous dimensions.
For visual consistency, it should either:
- Shrink the dropdown.
- Right-align the new display value.
