Browser falls after move element to other in developer tools

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/53.0.2785.143 Chrome/53.0.2785.143 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open developer tools
2. Move html element to other element

What is the expected behavior?
Move element to other element.

What went wrong?
Browser fall and GUI is completely restarted or logged out.

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 53.0.2785.143  Channel: stable
OS Version: Ubuntu 16.04

I can't reproduce this so far neither on stable (m54) nor on tip-of-tree (m56). Can you reproduce this on a recent version? Also, can you reproduce this with an official build?
