Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.59 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. flex-direction: column + height on container 2. flex:1 on children 3. children's min-height is "0" -> should be "auto" (min content) What is the expected behavior? children's min-height should be "auto" (min content) What went wrong? On a flex-direction: column container and a flex:1 children, min-height which should be "auto" is computed to "0" and content can be hidden. See : http://codepen.io/raphaelgoetter/full/dpqjZO/ This bug is not listed on https://github.com/philipwalton/flexbugs Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 54.0.2840.59 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Tested the issue on chrome Stable #54.0.2840.59, Canary 55.0.2891.0 in Windows 10.0 and was able to reproduce the issue. This is a Non-Regression issue since seeing this from M35 #35.0.1849.0, Making the status to Untriaged so that the issue would get addressed. Note : Able to reproduce the issue in MAC 10.12 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04. Thank you.

I'm confused by the instructions, which element should not shrink? Can you provide a screenshot?

Ah thanks, this is a case of two nested column flexboxes. Known bug, surprisingly hard to fix. Marking as duplicate. For anyone else trying to reproduce, you need a narrow width *and* a low height. (Note, aside>div does have the right height -- it's the <aside> and <article> itself that are too short) |
