Apologies, I should have been more descriptive initially.

You have focused on the wrong element. The element in question is within the header navigation, more specifically;
html.google-js.mmfb > body > div#maia-nav-x.maia-nav > div.maia-aux > ul > li(data-g-label="Terms of Service")

As you can see in the image attached (titled MissingActiveClass.png) the class "active" on the Terms of service li is missing.

For additional clarity I have attached a second file, titled MissingActiveClassFixed.png, where I have fixed the problem.

Able to reproduce the issue on MAC 10.11.6, Windows 10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #53.0.2785.143 and latest canary #56.0.2895.0

This is a non regression as it is observed from M30 to latest stable & Canary.Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team.

Please find the attached screencast of M30 & latest canary Builds.

Thanks,

This is a site specific issue. This bug tracker is for only chromium/chrome related bugs. The issue appears in all browsers.

I have filed internal bug (33074859) tracking the end user issue reported though. Please use support.google.com to report issues with Google's sites next time.
Should be fixed now.
