Settings -> Passwords List Never Loads

Chrome Version       : 54.0.2840.59 m (64-bit)
URLs (if applicable) : chrome://settings/passwords
Other browsers tested: Various versions across macOS, Linux and Windows.
  Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari: N/A
    Firefox: N/A
         IE: N/A

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) With some dataset (size/type?), accessing either chrome://settings/passwords or passwords.google.com forever sits at loading and in the case of settings tab, tab will hang/lock.

What is the expected result?
Password content should load for editing/viewing.

What happens instead?
"Loading..." and nothing further, tab will hang.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Adding mini-dump to provide further detail around the exception (breakpoint). 

If needed, can provide macOS or Linux crash dumps as well.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Mac OS 10.11.6 , Ubuntu 14.04 and windows 10 using chrome stable M54 #54.0.2840.59 .

Attached screenshots for reference. 

Please check with fresh profile without any extensions and apps and if you still face the issue , please write us your observations.

Correct - with fresh profile the problem does not exist. 

It's only present with populated profile/dataset that meets some unknown criteria as not everyone experiences it. Those of us who are experiencing it have posted in the productforums (URL in original post) - so whatever we share in our password sets seems to be the factor causing the password system(s) to crash.

As you can see in screenshot - it sits at this state "Loading..." indefinitely.

The problem isn't present for all users with passwords saved, only some.

I posted a video, how the Chrome Browser hangs while accessing the url chrome://settings/passwords

If needed, can provide macOS crash dumps as well.

How is the password manager not showing passwords a duplicate of users just experiencing slowness??? This has been happening for at least a month now in Linux and my Chromebook. Open password manager and eventually get kill/wait prompt. 54.0.2840.71 downloaded today still does not fix.
