What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) 100 + tabs in use
(2) touch tabs button on top bar
(3) 50-80% chance Chrome will lock up when tabs are displayed and/or scrolled through.

What is the expected result?
Not lock up.

What happens instead?
Lags for 10-20 seconds where Android will present the standard "app is not responding" dialog where I typically force close it.
