Cursor-movement keybindings missing from devtools console |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionVersion: 56.0.2891.0 canary OS: OS X What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Load https://www.google.com (2) Open devtools console (3) Enter "console.log('hello, world');" (4) Without pressing enter, attempt to move the cursor backward and forward with ctrl-b and ctrl-f. What is the expected output? The cursor moves backward when ctrl-b is pressed, and forward when ctrl-f is pressed. What do you see instead? The cursor does not move. Note that some cursor-movement commands do work, such as ctrl-a and ctrl-e. However a number are missing. The keybindings also work as expected in stable (54.0.2840.59).

This includes most keybindings that macOS users can set using using DefaultKeyBinding.dict. For example, Ctrl-f, Ctrl-b Alt-f, Alt-b, Alt-d etc. I posted some more information here: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/google-chrome-developer-tools/qqj8I_l7hzk/k4lqxvQUFQAJ
