Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.143 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. put some yellow background on body element 2. add completely black image 3. add a large border like 16px solid black 4. add transform: scaleX(0.475) scaleY(0.475) <body style="background-color: yellow"> <img src="http://il2.picdn.net/shutterstock/videos/2857717/thumb/1.jpg?i10c=img.resize(height:160)" alt="" style="border: 16px black solid; transform: scaleX(0.475) scaleY(0.475)"> </body> What is the expected behavior? the black image and border should make a solid black rectangle What went wrong? some yellow color from the background leak between border and element Did this work before? Able to reproduce this issue on windows 10, Mac 10.11.4,Linux Ubuntu 14.04 with Chrome stable version-54.0.2840.59 and latest Canary-56.0.2889.0. Bugs that appeared back in m36 are not regressions according to current labeling practices. It's in the queue of things to fix, and will get fixed when we deal with other issues related to border leakage.

The issue in comment #8 may or may not be a distinct issue. The background image is not covering the while area when transformed in both cases, but the latter case may be due to layout positioning the spans at odd offsets. Either way, we should be better at this and thanks for the additional report.

The issue manifests on Mac only at certain fractional zoom settings using the example from comment #9. But still there.
