Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8872.6.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.7 Safari/537.36 Platform: 8872.6.0 (Official Build) dev-channel swanky Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. click on status area in shelf 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? icons in single row next to date and time What went wrong? Extra row of of icons (settings, help, lock and shut down) in status area menu. These duplicate the icons immediately above and below the extra row. Did this work before? Yes last dev build Chrome version: 55.0.2883.7 Channel: dev OS Version: 8872.6.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

kaingardner@, do you have the #ash-md flag set to 'Experimental' ? If so what you're seeing is a work in progress implementation of the new system menu. There will only be one row of buttons when this feature goes stable; specifically I will be removing them in issue 652280.

Ah. that'd be the issue. I do have Ash-MD set to experimental. Sorry about the false report.
