I couldn't repro this issue using my test account with google play. It seems something wrong with your account. Please contact google play to solve it. You can find it in Google Play => Help => Contact

Another person using the Fedora Chromium reported the exact same symptoms as I am experiencing. Seems weird that two people have been able to reproduce this but you can't. Did you: 1. Read the Fedora bug report 2. Test with Fedora Chromium... if you didn't test with Fedora Chromium, what Chromium did you test with? What distribution? What version level? 3. Remember, I'm having absolutely no issues with Google Chrome... that works perfect... only having issues trying to use a paid Google Music Account with Fedora Chromium. The free account works fine with Fedora Chromium.

I also am a paid user & bug been happening, along with few others, since very inception of Play Android app, has never been fixed & only seems to be getting worse along with 2-3 majorly annoying never fixed bugs. This "music stream unavailable" failure to load songs, may later in day or next day load song fine most times. Occasionally, have to clear pop-up box, clear the annoying tray notification, hit back to previous song (which usually plays fine or go to the next song which plays fine & then try go back). Sometimes the rewind button & then if hit play button on song, try that many times, every now & then works(but rarely-2-10 incidences). The app bug seems to be getting worse also in respect to song freezing up during the song in the same manner & either circling for minute & restarting, circling for a minute and creating the same "music stream not available" as song skipping bug error, & songs randomly slow down, speed up & skip often throughout & all of these usual occur during the same "bug infestation random periods" as "music stream unavailable" song skipping bug. Since, unlike Amazon Prime Music & Spotify, Play Music won't allow themes/adequate customization of library items/playlist ordering without a hassle, nor the ability to even use 3rd party Play Store app player like other music subscription apps allow both via Android apps & browsers (Play has no 3rd party Chrome extensions use instead for paid streaming music; only what own on your computer which is adding up to a lot of negatives compared to other services, & bugs occur on Play Chrome extension/website also but don't notice it as much as we phones more) unlike all the others as well, Play Music has no streaming device support either on Roku, TV's, Amazon Fire Stick etc. (& no screen mirroring, Plex servers, nor "casting" to streaming device apps ever works, it rarely works 1/2 time for YouTube Red Music or regular app, & not even for purchased/rented Play Movies being cast to Google's own Play Movie app on Roku/TV (which itself has kept me from finishing 2-day rentals due constant loading, freezing,"unavailable issues" as well thus I'm also paying for movie rentals, like Ghostbusters recently, that can't finish watching cause similar Play Music issues). I don't rent too often, now won't request my money back for fear that asking for refund movie rental Play Movie app can't play correctly over 48hrs lead to me losing $ again. I had 2-3 out of 15 over past few yrs refunded & last yr. requested refund on problem Play Movie & froze Google Wallet account, took my $20+ XMas Play Store Gift Card balance I had loaded into Google Wallet (as had no choice but to) & never did restore it even after sending ID, bank statements, pics of credit cards, address verification & my account had been fine, never went negative or anything & only used Google Wallet for Play Store purchases with gift cards or credits; kept, refused to give back my $20 XMas GC balance &, yet, I still stuck with Googlesphere & paid a lot of $ apps, purchased movies & a lot of money over time on what now seems limited & even more buggy Play Music which I used to love better than other services. We essentially are stuck having it on all phones, when it does, persists for some time, goes away randomly & returns. We pay family subscription & bugs occur no matter which phone/tablet (different models & versions OS & brands:Samsung,LG,Kindle etc. Play app randomly tries load next song(despite being cached or downloaded)then it'll just choose not bother & try the next song in playlist. Playlist are also usually older so no changes in order of tracks had been made recently. Clearing app cache, refreshing app, force stopping, turning off/on, restarting app, restarting phone doesn't have any effect on behavior. Quite annoying as it can sometimes occur numerous times in a row, each time box pops up says cannot play music stream & annoying notification phone's tray with big orange triangle & exclamation point. Also allowing it skip & play songs further down playlist, despite those songs already cached, it'll still do it if you go back & try play song couldn't stream. Yesterday, occurred over 10x on average in different playlists as I listen often during the day. Length playlist doesn't matter; could have 5 songs or 100 & bug still occurs. Also, there's still major bug with re-ordering in playlists, & it has been issue since when first started use Play Music at its inception,& it too is a major hassle. You'll hold & drag a song to order want it in & move on another song to try reorder that & then Music app randomly decides it doesn't like how you re-ordered songs, & it flashes, pauses & jumbles songs up in playlist; also doesn't even choose to re-order the song/songs even back their original spot. This also happens across devices in family subscription, clearing cache (app/phone), refreshing, restarts etc. also have no effect on behavior & it occurs on daily basis. I sometimes spend 10+ minutes alone just trying reorder 2-10 songs & app will randomly choose stop & reorder itself. Length playlist, 5-20 songs, nor length time had playlist in our account, whether newly created to a yr. old playlist, doesn't matter. I put up with time wasting annoying quarks, re-ordering playlist randomly as you're trying move songs to order you want, the ever present, random "music stream not available" pop-up & notification, both of which have occurred since before family account was an option & I've dealt with both bugs since had just personal account when 1st launched. So, yes, bugs though your system not able re-create them (LOL,sounds like when take my car to the mechanic) every device I've used Android app on since Music launched (Samsung Note 2,3,S4,S5, LG tablets,G20,G3,G4,Stylo & Samsung Tab3,4 & Kindle all have same bugs. Now with my Amazon Prime free music offering new unlimited, family same price, adding better redesign, more accurate/easier access Meta data & now more songs than Play, may jump ship for music, apps & movies. And, I've reported these bugs a few times over last yr. & Google Wallet issue few times & seems no matter others have also submitted bug issues (hundreds of others who had $taken from erroneously frozen, never restored Google wallet account) nothing gets done or even responded back to. |
