Summary: Media player toolbar should not disappearing when focused (was: Toolbar should not disappearing when focused)

I've started investigating this and the media controls receive no events when traversed by TalkBalk. The issue would not appear if the element was focused. You can try on desktop: focusing a button with tabbing will block the controls from disappearing.

Assigning to dmazzoni@ and CCing aboxhall@ for a11y to have a look or at least give guidance in how to fix this.

Can we confirm that this is still an issue?
If so, will we be fixing it?

This is definitely still something we want to work on but felt out of my bucket.
