Text-align ignored by input type number if invalid value is typed in

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.89 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. place an input type number somewhere and add style text-align: right; 2. remove the input value and type non numerical characters What is the expected behavior? Cursor stays at the right of the input field. What went wrong? The cursor jumps to the left and stays there until a valid entry has been made. Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers?
