Logdog isn't showing logs for a range on a Dart windows builders.

Project Member Reported by whesse@google.com, Oct 10 2016

Issue description

Logdog isn't showing logs for a range on a Dart windows builders.

It shows logs for builds 438 and earlier, and for builds 475 and later, but for build 439 to 474, it says "Some streams failed to load."

https://luci-logdog.appspot.com/v/?s=chromium%2Fbb%2Fclient.dart%2Fanalyzer-win7-release-be%2F439%2F%2B%2Frecipes%2Fsteps%2Fanalysis_server_unit_tests%2F0%2Fstdout

These links are shown by
https://uberchromegw.corp.google.com/i/client.dart/builders/analyzer-win7-release-be?numbuilds=200

This range is needed to pin down an error.

The error has been pinned down by downloading builds and rerunning tests, but the failure in Logdog is still there. If the error is that the data is missing, then the error message I am getting is not clear enough, since it doesn't indicate why "some streams failed to load"

This looks like an instance of crbug.com/654389 . Basically I had a stupidly-configured GS bucket for a few days, and all logs written there have overly-restrictive ACLs. I've been fixing this on request.

Please clarify if you need access to those logs or if you're merely pointing out that the links aren't working. If the former is the case, I'll work on fixing the ACLs.

Ack, meant to say crbug.com/652598.

Comment 5 by whesse@google.com, Oct 10 2016

Nope, just pointing out the failure and the error message. I'll be sending out a newsletter to my users showing them the new logdog logs, the builder monitor, and polygerrit this week.

Oh awesome. I decided to just suck it up and fix all the broken ACLs. I have a task running in the background to do this. It'll take a while, but it should be eventually fixed.

dnj, any update on the success of that task? Should this issue be closed now?
