What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://md-settings/clearBrowserData
2. Now press 'Cmd + P' to open print preview and observe immediately to LHS of print preview overlay

Actual: Weird grey patch is seen on LHS of print preview overlay
Expected: Weird grey patch should not be seen on LHS of print preview overlay

This is regression issue, broken in ‘M 54’ and below is manual regression and narrow bisect info:
Good build : 54.0.2788.0
Bad build : 54.0.2789.0
