Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.143 Safari/537.36 Example URL: www.amazon.com Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Search for any product, i.e., HDTV 2. When the page displays wait for a few seconds and image will flicker 3. What is the expected behavior? Images should be stable. What went wrong? Images flicker on/off Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 53.0.2785.143 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 Chrome is the only browser with this issue. FF and Edge work fine.

Problem went away for me when I removed the Adguard AdBlocker extension. I had to completely remove then restart the browser for it to take affect.

unable to reproduce the issue on Windows -10, Mac-10.116, Ubuntu-14.04 using reported version 53.0.2785.143 following above steps. @dev after adding "Adguard Adblocker" extension that observed the flickering of the images.After removing the extension images are stable. In M-30 the extension is not available. The issue observed from chrome M-35 version.It is non-regression issue and marking it as untraiged.

This seems like an issue with the extension itself, rather than the extensions platform. Feel free to report the issue to the extension owner, but this isn't something that falls into the chrome team's area (unless it's an underlying blink bug, but it doesn't sound like it).

I reported the issue to Adguard. They were able to reproduce the issue on a Win 10 PC with their Adguard Product. THey are working on a resolution. Bear in mind, my issue was Win 10. Perhaps it works on Mac. If so, you are fortunate. |
