(1) Go to drive/

What is the expected output?
No CPU use, as there are no animations on the page.

What do you see instead?
The Chrome Task Manager shows that the Drive renderer process is consuming ~15% CPU steady-state.

Quartz Debug and JavaScript Paint Flashing both show that no screen updates are occurring. Here is a link to a drive folder with a chrome://tracing trace, and a JavaScript developer console trace:
