Issue description
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.143 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. create contenteditable container
2. put following html inside <p> </p><p><span data-test="test">text</span></p>
3. put cursor at the start of 2 paragraph
4. press backspace or call document.execCommand('Delete')
What is the expected behavior?
Paragraphs should be merged into <p> <span data-test="test">text</span></p>
What went wrong?
Chrome unwraps <span> tag in result getting following markup: <p> text</p>
Did this work before? N/A
Chrome version: 53.0.2785.143 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.11.6
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0
Here is jsfiddle to reproduce https://jsfiddle.net/5js0b5e7/1/
Intresting, but if we have more tags in second paragraph it will work fine:
