Looking at this. In the future please open up a new bug rather then appending to one that is over a month old.

These devices tend to be very fragile.

00ce489589bb40eb was in a boot loop.   Tried re-flashing it but no change in behavior.   

Charging up a replacement.   Will report back when attached.

Looks like this is fixed.
