Non-Regression: Ripple effect is missing on 3 dot menu on deleting last entry from history

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch chrome and get some history >> Click on 3 dot-menu on last history entry and Remove from history >> Observe for ripple/focus on previous history entry

Expected: Focus should be seen on n-1 history entry on deleting nth entry
Actual: Instead focus is seen missing.

This is a Non-regression issue as it is seen in 53.0.2785.45 beta too.

Able to reproduce this issue on Mac OS 10.12 using chrome latest Dev M55-55.0.2883.0.

This is actually worse than the report. Deleting items from the middle of the list causes focus to go haywire...

In the meantime we may be able to save the focus index somewhere and then restore it after the delete.
