Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.50 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Save a webpage (I used the gmail page) as a desktop app 2. I added that desktop app to my taskbar in windows 10 3. Upon clicking the icon, I get an message popup window that I have never seen before. What is the expected behavior? The app to open in a dedicated chrome window like usual. What went wrong? Right away, I get an error message popup modal saying: Google Chrome is unresponsive. Relaunch now? Yes | No I clicked Yes and nothing happened. Crashed report ID: No How much crashed? Just one tab Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? Yes Last night around 11pm - the chrome beta version just before this most recent update. Chrome version: 54.0.2840.50 Channel: beta OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Tested in chrome stable #53.0.2785.143 and mentioned Beta version #54.0.2840.50 on Win 10.0 not able to reproduce the issue.Attaching the screen cast for reference. @ joshuaandersonnh: Could you please let me know if i have missed anything and if possible, provide us with a screen cast of the issue which would help us triage further. @rbasuvula thank you for checking this out. I can't reproduce this anymore, but I might have miscommunicated what I was having issues with. I was talking about going to Gmail.com after logging in to view my emails, then clicking the menu icon, hover over More Tools and then choose Add to Desktop. And make sure the Open as Window checkbox is clicked. Then once it's on the desktop, I added the shortcut to my quick task bar and when clicking it then, it showed that error modal with the error message. That exact use case is not reproducible anymore. I didn't change anything other than restart the computer.
